Description
Lymphocyte antigen 6 complex locus protein G6d belongs to a family of GPI-anchored cell surface proteins implicated in immune cell signaling and lymphocyte activation, yet its precise functional role in rat immunology remains an active area of investigation. This recombinant protein, spanning the full mature sequence (aa 20–108) and expressed in yeast with an N-terminal 6xHis tag, demonstrates specific antibody binding in functional ELISA with an EC50 of 6.238–7.258 ng/mL when immobilized at 2 μg/mL, providing quantitative evidence that the protein retains native epitope presentation.
