Function(From Uniprot)

This enzyme is required for electron transfer from NADP to cytochrome P450 in microsomes. It can also provide electron transfer to heme oxygenase and cytochrome B5.

Data indicate not only that binding of b5 and P450 reductase on the proximal surface of P450 2B4 results in electron transfer but also that each redox partner transmits unique structural information to the active site proton delivery network. PMID:27797496
