Tag Info
N-terminal His-tagged/Tag-Free
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Storage
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

Target Background

Function(From Uniprot)
This transcriptional activator recognizes and binds to the sequence 5'-RTTAYGTAAY-3' found in the promoter of genes such as albumin, CYP2A4 and CYP2A5. It is not essential for circadian rhythm generation, but modulates important clock output genes. May be a direct target for regulation by the circadian pacemaker component clock. May affect circadian period and sleep regulation.
Gene References into Functions
  1. constitutive Dbp expression plays an important role in mediating hepatic dysfunction under chronic kidney disease. DBP was significantly decreased in 5/6Nx model mice. PMID:26728457
  2. Dbp plays a well-established role in circadian rhythms. PMID:23450268
  3. we demonstrate that D site albumin promoter binding protein/thyrotroph embryonic factor/hepatic leukemia factor triple knockout mice develop cardiac hypertrophy and left ventricular dysfunction associated with a low blood pressure PMID:20686175
  4. natural body temperature rhythms can affect circadian gene expression PMID:12372249
  5. mice deficient for all three PAR bZip proteins (DBP,HLF,& TEF) are highly susceptible to generalized spontaneous and audiogenic epilepsies, frequently lethal. Pyridoxal kinase is a target gene of PAR bZip proteins in both liver and brain PMID:15175240
  6. Dbp transcription cycle is paralleled by binding of BMAL1 and CLOCK to multiple extra- and intragenic E boxes. PMID:16474407
  7. The Dbp protein control the expression of many enzymes and regulators involved in detoxification and drug metabolism, such as cytochrome P450 enzymes, carboxylesterases, and constitutive androstane receptor (CAR). PMID:16814730
  8. Data show p38 MAPK- and calcium-dependent TNFR1-mediated transient increase of the negative regulator Per1 and an independent decrease of Dbp. PMID:19625730
