Suppresses the host immune response through NF-kappa-B inactivation. Possesses ankyrin repeat domains required for NF-kappa-B binding but lacks the regulatory regions required for dissociation from NF-kappa-B and degradation. Therefore, prevents host NF-kappa-B release and subsequent activation.
