Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
Interferon gamma receptor 1 mediates cellular responses to IFN-γ, a cytokine central to macrophage activation, antigen presentation, and adaptive immunity, making its extracellular domain a critical target for studying cytokine signaling in primate models. This mammalian-expressed construct spanning residues 18–246 captures the ligand-binding domain and demonstrates quantified binding to rhesus IFN-γ with an EC50 of 1.329–1.813 ng/mL in functional ELISA, providing a validated reagent for ligand-receptor interaction studies, competitive inhibition assays, and blocking antibody screening. The measured affinity supports its use in therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, small-molecule inhibitor screening, and as a positive control in surface plasmon resonance or biolayer interferometry experiments characterizing IFN-γ pathway modulators. Mammalian expression preserves native glycosylation and disulfide architecture essential for physiological binding, while purity exceeding 95% by SEC-HPLC and endotoxin below 1.0 EU/μg satisfy the stringent criteria typical for cell-based assays and in vitro pharmacology studies in immunology research.
