Do you ensure soluble protein is delivered, and what is the buffer you would expect it to be stored in?
Do you typically express as inclusion bodies? If so do you carry out in vitro refolding steps? I would prefer if the protein does not include chaotropic and denaturants added to the buffer at the end.

If the inclusion body is expressed, we will refold it in vitro and renaturate it into soluble protein. The final protein buffer does not contain chaotropic and denaturant, because we will remove it.
Regarding buffering, we give priority to Tris buffering or PBS buffering.
