Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
ACVRL1, a type I receptor in the TGF-β superfamily, plays a critical role in angiogenesis and vascular remodeling, making it a target of interest in cancer research where aberrant signaling contributes to tumor vasculature development. This partial extracellular domain construct spanning residues 22–118 demonstrates quantifiable antibody-binding activity in functional ELISA, with an EC50 of 6.893–8.194 ng/mL when immobilized at 2 μg/mL and challenged with anti-ACVRL1 recombinant antibody, confirming proper epitope presentation. The validated binding kinetics support use in therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, competitive inhibition screening to identify blocking candidates, and ligand-receptor interaction assays including ELISA and surface plasmon resonance. Produced in baculovirus with greater than 95% purity and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, this protein meets the quality thresholds commonly required for antibody development workflows and provides a suitable positive control for binding assays targeting the ACVRL1 extracellular region.
