Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
PDGFRA signaling drives mesenchymal cell proliferation and vascular development, yet recombinant extracellular domains often suffer from misfolding that compromises ligand recognition and antibody epitope presentation. This protein spans residues 24–524, capturing the complete immunoglobulin-like domains responsible for PDGF binding, and demonstrates quantifiable antibody recognition with an EC50 of 1.368–1.519 ng/mL in functional ELISA, confirming that native epitopes remain accessible. Mammalian expression preserves the post-translational modifications critical for proper domain folding, making this reagent suitable for therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, competitive inhibition screening of PDGFRA-targeting biologics, and ligand-binding assays by ELISA, SPR, or BLI. The combination of >95% purity and <1.0 EU/μg endotoxin meets the quality thresholds commonly required for high-sensitivity binding studies and serves as a validated positive control in receptor-ligand interaction platforms.
