Description
L1CAM mediates axonal guidance and neuronal migration during development, and its aberrant expression in multiple cancers correlates with metastatic potential and poor prognosis. This recombinant protein spans residues 20–1120, encompassing the six immunoglobulin-like domains and five fibronectin type III repeats critical for homophilic and heterophilic adhesion interactions. Functional ELISA demonstrates specific antibody binding with an EC50 of 1.496–1.709 ng/mL, confirming that the native epitope architecture is preserved and providing a quantitative benchmark for antibody development, epitope mapping, and competitive binding assays.
