Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
Interleukin-3 is a pleiotropic cytokine central to hematopoietic progenitor expansion and mast cell development, making precise recombinant forms essential for dissecting JAK/STAT and MAPK signaling downstream of the IL-3 receptor. This recombinant human IL-3 encompasses the full mature sequence (residues 20–152) with a C-terminal 6×His tag, expressed in *E. coli* and purified to greater than 95% purity by SDS-PAGE, providing a suitable basis for quantitative functional work. Validated bioactivity yields an ED50 of 5.97–17.16 ng/mL in TF-1 proliferation assays, confirming signaling potency appropriate for dose-response proliferation studies, hematopoietic differentiation experiments, and use as a reference standard in cytokine detection platforms. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfy the stringent criteria typical for immune cell assays—including PBMC activation and antibody validation by ELISA—where LPS contamination would otherwise confound cytokine-attributable readouts.
