Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description
Interleukin-3 is a pleiotropic cytokine that drives proliferation and differentiation of multipotent hematopoietic progenitors, making validated recombinant forms essential for dissecting early lineage commitment and mast cell biology. This tag-free recombinant human IL-3 (P27S variant, residues 20–152) delivers exceptional signaling potency, with an ED50 below 0.1 ng/ml in a TF-1 cell proliferation assay — corresponding to a specific activity exceeding 1.0 × 10⁷ IU/mg — providing a reliable basis for dose–response studies, JAK/STAT and MAPK pathway activation experiments, and hematopoietic differentiation assays. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts, which supports use in sensitive immune cell functional assays, in vivo inflammation models, and as a reference standard in cytokine detection platforms such as ELISA. The full-length mature protein sequence, expressed in *E. coli* at greater than 96% purity, satisfies the quality thresholds commonly required for antibody validation workflows and quantitative bioassay standardization.
