Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
Interferon gamma orchestrates adaptive immunity by activating macrophages, upregulating MHC expression, and polarizing T helper cell differentiation, making precise control of its signaling dose essential in mechanistic studies. This recombinant human IFNG demonstrates potent antiproliferative activity with an ED50 of 0.21–0.29 ng/mL in HT-29 cell assays, providing a quantitative benchmark for dose-response experiments in cell-based functional assays including primary T cell activation, macrophage polarization, and tumor cell growth inhibition studies. The protein binds its cognate antibody with an EC50 of 74–97 ng/mL in functional ELISA, supporting its use as a coating antigen in antibody development workflows and as a positive control in cytokine detection platforms.
