Description
CD226 (DNAM-1) serves as a critical activating receptor on NK cells and T cells, and this recombinant construct covering residues 19–247 encompasses the extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains responsible for engaging its ligand CD155 (PVR). FACS-based validation confirms that this protein binds 293F cells overexpressing human CD155, providing a suitable basis for integrin-ligand binding studies, cell adhesion and spreading assays, and investigations into immune cell trafficking and tumor metastasis. Mammalian cell expression preserves native glycosylation and disulfide-mediated folding, while the C-terminal hFc1-Myc tag facilitates detection and supports antibody development and validation workflows through straightforward capture on Protein A/G surfaces. Purity exceeding 90% by SDS-PAGE paired with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typically required for cell-based migration and invasion assays where contamination-sensitive immune cells are involved.
