Description

Recombinant Dog Interleukin-13 (IL13) is a semi-custom product. There are 5 expression system options: Yeast, E. coli, In Vivo Biotinylation in E. coli, Baculovirus, and Mammalian cell. Your requirements will be given top priority in determining the protein tags. For proteins within 800 aa, risk-free custom service is guaranteed. It means you will not be charged if the protein cannot be delivered.

IL13 is a multifunctional cytokine involved in energy metabolism, inflammation, cancer, and allergic diseases. It regulates energy expenditure, thermogenesis, and mitochondrial biogenesis [1]. IL13 has been reported to target hepatic glucose production through a non-canonical downstream pathway involving IL13RA1/STAT3, indicating its role beyond inflammation regulation [2]. IL13 is a major effector of Th2 inflammation and tissue remodeling, indicating its significance in immune responses and inflammatory processes [3]. Genetic variations in the IL13 gene have been associated with susceptibility to asthma and atopic phenotypes in different populations [4]. IL13 has also been implicated in cancer, with studies showing its expression in Hodgkin lymphoma cells and its role in promoting neoplastic cell survival in mycosis fungoides [5][6].
