Tag Info
N-terminal His-tagged/Tag-Free
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Storage
Store at -20°C, for extended storage, conserve at -20°C or -80°C.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function(From Uniprot)
Calcium-regulated membrane-binding protein whose affinity for calcium is greatly enhanced by anionic phospholipids. It binds two calcium ions with high affinity. May be involved in heat-stress response. Inhibits PCSK9-enhanced LDLR degradation, probably reduces PCSK9 protein levels via a translational mechanism but also competes with LDLR for binding with PCSK9.
Gene References into Functions
  1. ClfA binds with AnnexinA2 and this interaction could mediate S. aureus invasion into bovine mammary epithelial cells. PMID:28102235
  2. AnxA2 functions as a critical regulator for amino acid or hormone-induced milk synthesis and mammary gland epithelial cell proliferation via the PI3K-mTOR-SREBP-1c/Cyclin D1 signaling pathway. PMID:28771726
  3. annexin A2-induced actin bundling is apparently essential for generating active exocytotic sites. PMID:26323692
  4. Annexins A1 and A2 are proteins produced by airway epithelial cells that may prevent inflammation in the healthy lung and be relevant to development of pneumonia in stressed cattle. PMID:25827591
  5. Calves that later developed pneumonia had significantly lower levels of annexin A1 and annexin A2, which are potential biomarkers of increased susceptibility to pneumonia in recently weaned and transported feedlot cattle. PMID:23565988
  6. Because annexins I and II are abundant and have functions important to the maintenance of placentation, the down-regulation of the annexin genes in the cultured NT (nuclear transfer) trophectoderm may be related to the frequent failures of NT pregnancies. PMID:20400246
  7. annexin II binds to CEACAM1 in a breast neoplasm model PMID:14522961
  8. show for the first time that annexin A2 (AIIt) can undergo functional reactivation by glutaredoxin, therefore establishing that AIIt is regulated by reversible glutathionylation PMID:14668336
  9. AII does not bind 1,25-D(3) in a physiologically relevant manner PMID:14991775
  10. Data show that the mRNA-binding site of Annexin A2 resides in its domain IV. PMID:17395201
  11. The results showed that alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity was significantly increased in matrix vesicles from calcified bovine vascular smooth muscle cells (BVSMCs) compared with noncalcified BVSMCs, as was annexin II and VI content and (45)Ca uptake. PMID:18597635
