The LMP2 polyclonal antibody is an IgG that recognizes and binds specifically to the Epstein-Barr virus LMP2 protein. LMP2 mainly helps the Epstein-Barr virus evade the immune system and establish a persistent infection in host cells. Its activity is critical in the development of EBV-associated malignancies such as Hodgkin's lymphoma, Burkitt's lymphoma, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
The LMP2 polyclonal antibody is generated from rabbits. The recombinant Epstein-Barr virus (1-147aa) is used as the immunogen. After protein G purification, this LMP2 antibody reaches up to 95% in purity. It is suitable for use in ELISA.
