Description
MerTK plays a central role in efferocytosis and microglial phagocytosis, making it a key target in neuroscience and innate immunity research. This recombinant mouse MerTK encompasses the extracellular domain (aa 19–497), preserving the ligand-binding Ig-like and fibronectin type III regions critical for receptor-ligand interaction studies. Mammalian cell expression ensures native-like glycosylation and proper folding, as confirmed by functional ELISA demonstrating binding to an anti-MerTK recombinant antibody with an EC50 of 19.22–25.80 ng/mL—validated performance that supports use in ligand-binding assays, blocking antibody screening, therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, and affinity characterization by SPR or BLI.
