The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered 20 mM Tris-HCl, 0.5 M NaCl, 6% Trehalose, pH 8
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Lead Time
3-7 business days
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, storage temperature and the stability of the product itself. Generally, the shelf life of lyophilized form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C from the date of receipt.

Description

Cdcp1 plays a critical role in tumor cell adhesion and metastatic dissemination, making it a key target for understanding cancer progression mechanisms. This mammalian-expressed construct spans residues 30–666, preserving the native CUB domain architecture required for integrin interactions and downstream Src kinase signaling. Functional ELISA validation demonstrates specific antibody binding with an EC50 of 0.64–0.84 ng/mL, confirming proper epitope presentation and supporting its use in antibody development workflows and immunoassay standardization. The protein meets the purity and endotoxin criteria typical for cell-based functional studies (>95% purity, <1.0 EU/μg), providing a suitable basis for cell adhesion and spreading assays, migration and invasion experiments, and tumor metastasis models where Cdcp1-mediated signaling influences cancer cell behavior.

Target Background

Function(From Uniprot)
May be involved in cell adhesion and cell matrix association. May play a role in the regulation of anchorage versus migration or proliferation versus differentiation via its phosphorylation. May be a novel marker for leukemia diagnosis and for immature hematopoietic stem cell subsets. Belongs to the tetraspanin web involved in tumor progression and metastasis.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Results indicate Cdcp1 (CD318) as a ligand of T-cell differentiation antigen CD6 (CD6) and a potential target for the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune diseases. PMID:28760953
  2. Trask loss enhances tumorigenic growth by liberating integrin signaling and growth factor receptor cross-talk in unanchored cells. PMID:23243018
  3. established mechanism for initiation of CDCP1-mediated signaling; demonstrated that processing of surface CDCP1 by extracellular serine proteases is prerequisite for CDCP1-dependent survival of cancer cells during metastasis; preventing cleavage of CDCP1 abrogated survival signaling associated with CDCP1 and induced PARP1 cleavage and PARP1-mediated apoptosis PMID:22179830
  4. CDCP1 may have a role in neoplasm metastasis; targeting it with a monoclonal antibody inhibits metastasis in a prostate cancer model PMID:18483259
