Description
CADM1 functions as a tumor suppressor and synaptic adhesion molecule whose interaction with CRTAM mediates critical immune cell recognition events relevant to cancer immunology. This recombinant mouse CADM1 (residues 48–388) encompasses the extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains required for trans-cellular binding, and functional ELISA confirms its activity with an EC50 of 52.61–92.92 ng/mL against mouse CRTAM, supporting use in integrin-ligand binding studies, tumor metastasis research, and antibody development campaigns targeting the CADM1–CRTAM axis. Mammalian cell expression preserves native glycosylation and disulfide-dependent folding essential for adhesion molecules, ensuring this protein is appropriate for cell adhesion and spreading assays as well as migration and invasion experiments where physiological conformation drives reproducible results. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for cell-based functional assays and immune cell trafficking studies without confounding inflammatory artifacts.
