Description
CD20 (MS4A1) is a critical B-cell surface marker widely targeted in oncology antibody development, yet evaluating anti-CD20 candidates requires antigen presented in a native membrane context rather than as soluble ectodomain fragments. This recombinant cynomolgus macaque CD20 is displayed on virus-like particles (VLPs) as a full-length protein (aa 1–297) expressed in mammalian cells, preserving multi-pass transmembrane topology that soluble constructs cannot replicate. Functional ELISA confirms that immobilized VLP-CD20 at 10 µg/mL binds an anti-CD20 recombinant antibody with an EC₅₀ of 10.65–15.26 ng/mL, while control VLPs show no binding, supporting use in antibody screening, cross-reactivity profiling between human and cynomolgus targets, and preclinical binding assays critical for therapeutic antibody development. The C-terminal 10×His tag is accessible only under denaturing conditions, and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/µg satisfy the criteria typical for cell-based functional assays and in vivo bridging studies.
