Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
Cadherin 6 mediates calcium-dependent cell–cell adhesion in neural and renal tissues and has emerged as a biomarker in several cancers, where aberrant expression correlates with metastatic potential. This recombinant protein spans residues 22–614, encompassing the extracellular cadherin repeats critical for homophilic binding, and demonstrates specific antibody recognition with an EC50 of 2.076–2.371 ng/mL in functional ELISA, confirming proper epitope presentation. The quantified binding activity supports use in antibody development and validation workflows, where precise epitope mapping and affinity measurements are essential, as well as in cell adhesion and migration assays investigating cadherin-mediated tumor cell behavior. Produced in mammalian cells to preserve native glycosylation and folding, the protein meets the purity (>95% by SEC-HPLC) and endotoxin (<1.0 EU/μg) thresholds commonly required for functional cell-based assays and protein–protein interaction studies in cancer metastasis research.
