Description
CLEC4C, a C-type lectin receptor expressed on plasmacytoid dendritic cells, mediates endocytic uptake and immune signaling, making it a target of interest in antiviral immunity and autoimmune disease models. This cynomolgus macaque ortholog, spanning residues 48–212 and encompassing the extracellular carbohydrate-recognition domain, demonstrates quantifiable antibody-binding activity with an EC50 of 5.506–6.472 ng/mL in functional ELISA, providing a validated reagent for therapeutic antibody epitope mapping and competitive inhibition screening in translational primate studies. Mammalian cell expression preserves the native glycosylation and disulfide architecture critical for lectin domain folding, supporting its use in ligand-binding assays, surface plasmon resonance affinity characterization, and biolayer interferometry experiments that demand conformationally intact receptor.
