Description

VSIG4 functions as a complement receptor on macrophages and has emerged as a key negative regulator of T cell activation, positioning it alongside established immune checkpoint targets such as PD-L1 and TIGIT. This recombinant human VSIG4 construct covers the extracellular region (aa 20–283), encompassing both the IgV and IgC domains critical for ligand engagement, and is expressed in mammalian cells to preserve native glycosylation and conformational integrity essential for receptor-ligand interaction studies. Functional ELISA validation confirms robust binding activity, with an EC50 of 51.14–68.73 ng/mL against an anti-VSIG4 recombinant antibody, supporting use in blocking antibody screening, therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, and affinity characterization by SPR or BLI. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for cell-based immune checkpoint assays and small-molecule or biologic inhibitor screening in drug discovery workflows.
