Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
Thymosin beta-4 plays a central role in actin sequestration, cell migration, and tissue repair signaling, making validated bioactivity essential for meaningful functional studies. This tag-free recombinant human TMSB4X (residues 2–44, full-length mature protein) demonstrates a protective effect against hydrogen peroxide-induced damage in primary lung fibroblasts at concentrations of 0.5–10 μg/ml, confirming its suitability for oxidative stress assays, cytoprotection studies, and wound healing migration experiments. Expressed in *E. coli* to ensure proper folding of this small, unglycosylated polypeptide, the protein provides a suitable basis for functional cell-based assays investigating actin dynamics and signal transduction pathways. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for sensitive primary cell culture systems and *in vivo* animal models of tissue injury and repair.
