Tag Info
C-terminal 6xHis-tagged (This tag can be tested only under denaturing conditions)
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Buffer
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered PBS, 6% Trehalose, pH 7.4
Storage
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Lead Time
Basically, we can dispatch the products out in 3-7 working days after receiving your orders. Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, storage temperature and the stability of the product itself. Generally, the shelf life of lyophilized form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C from the date of receipt.

Description
Somatostatin receptor type 2 is a G protein-coupled receptor critically implicated in neuroendocrine tumor biology, making it a high-value target for therapeutic antibody development and small-molecule screening in oncology. This full-length construct (aa 1–369) is presented on virus-like particles from mammalian cells, preserving the native seven-transmembrane conformation that is notoriously difficult to achieve with isolated GPCR preparations. Functional ELISA confirms binding to an anti-SSTR2 recombinant antibody with an EC50 of 58.13–81.28 ng/mL, providing validated support for ligand-receptor interaction assays, competitive blocking antibody screening, and epitope mapping studies. The VLP format maintains conformational integrity of extracellular and transmembrane domains while the endotoxin level below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies criteria typical for cell-based drug discovery assays and affinity characterization by SPR or BLI.
