Description
SECTM1 functions as a ligand for CD7 and plays a role in T-cell costimulation and immune modulation relevant to tumor immunology. This recombinant human SECTM1 (aa 29–145), produced in mammalian cells with a C-terminal hFc tag, demonstrates strong CD7 binding in functional ELISA with an EC50 of 1.811–3.372 ng/ml, confirming its suitability for cell-based T-cell activation and proliferation assays, signaling pathway studies involving NF-κB or MAPK cascades, and antibody development workflows including use as a coating antigen or ELISA positive control. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound immune cell readouts, making this protein appropriate for sensitive primary PBMC or T-cell functional assays as well as in vivo tumor biology models. Purity exceeding 85% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, aligns with standards expected in quantitative cytokine detection assays and receptor-ligand interaction studies.
