Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
PAX8 functions as a lineage-specific transcription factor critical in thyroid and renal development, making it a valuable diagnostic marker in thyroid and ovarian cancer research. This partial construct spanning residues 1–279 captures the DNA-binding paired domain and demonstrates robust antibody recognition in functional ELISA, with an EC50 of 0.629–0.741 ng/mL when binding an anti-PAX8 recombinant antibody at 2 μg/mL immobilization density. The quantified binding kinetics support its use as a positive control in immunoassay development, as a capture reagent in antibody screening platforms, and as a reference standard for PAX8-directed diagnostic tool validation. Mammalian cell expression yields a C-terminally His-tagged protein exceeding 95% purity by SDS-PAGE with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, meeting the quality thresholds commonly required for cell-based binding studies and antibody characterization workflows.
