Description
Mesothelin is a cell-surface glycoprotein overexpressed in mesothelioma, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers, making it a high-priority target for antibody-based therapeutic development and immunoassay design. This recombinant human MSLN fragment (aa 296–580 of isoform 3) demonstrates robust binding activity validated by functional ELISA, where immobilized protein at 2 μg/ml binds anti-MSLN rabbit monoclonal antibody with an EC50 of 2.657–3.177 ng/ml, confirming correct epitope presentation suitable for antibody screening, sandwich ELISA development, and SPR-based binding kinetics studies. The N-terminal hFc tag facilitates oriented immobilization on Protein A/G surfaces and supports use as a positive control in flow cytometry or cell-binding assays targeting mesothelin-expressing tumor lines.
