Description
IL-12 receptor signaling drives Th1 differentiation and IFN-γ production, making IL12RB1 a critical node in cell-mediated immunity and a target for immunomodulatory therapeutics. This mammalian-expressed construct spanning residues 24–540 captures the extracellular ligand-binding domain with native glycosylation patterns that preserve conformational epitopes, as demonstrated by functional ELISA showing dose-dependent antibody binding with an EC50 of 1.578–2.143 ng/mL. The quantified binding kinetics support use in therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, competitive inhibition screening to identify blocking candidates, and SPR or BLI affinity characterization of IL-12/IL12RB1 interactions relevant to autoimmune and inflammatory disease models. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin below 1.0 EU/μg meet the quality thresholds commonly required for receptor-ligand interaction assays and antibody validation workflows in immunology research.
