Tag Info
C-terminal 10xHis-tagged(This tag can be tested only under denaturing conditions)
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Buffer
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered PBS, 6% Trehalose, pH 7.4
Storage
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Lead Time
3-7 business days
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
The VLPs are expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293).Mix the sample gently by repeatedly pipetting it up and down. Do not vortex.Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended.Store the protein at -20℃/-80℃ upon receiving it, and ensure to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, otherwise, it will affect the protein activity. The immunization strategy should be optimized (antigen dose, regimen and adjuvant).
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, storage temperature and the stability of the product itself. Generally, the shelf life of lyophilized form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C from the date of receipt.

Description

GPR20 remains an orphan G-protein coupled receptor with poorly defined ligand specificity, making validated full-length constructs essential for deorphanization efforts and functional characterization. This mammalian-expressed construct spans the complete 358-residue sequence and demonstrates specific antibody binding in functional ELISA with an EC50 of 2.431–3.239 ng/mL, confirming that native epitopes are accessible and properly folded. The quantified binding kinetics support use in therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, competitive inhibition screening to identify blocking antibodies, and ligand-binding assays designed to identify endogenous or synthetic agonists. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg meet the contamination thresholds commonly required for cell-based functional assays and receptor-ligand interaction studies by surface plasmon resonance or biolayer interferometry, where low background interference is critical for accurate affinity measurements.
