C-terminal 6xHis-tagged
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Buffer
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered 20 mM Tris-HCl, 0.5 M NaCl, 6% Trehalose, pH 8
Storage
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Lead Time
Basically, we can dispatch the products out in 1-3 working days after receiving your orders. Delivery time maybe differs from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, storage temperature and the stability of the product itself. Generally, the shelf life of lyophilized form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C from the date of receipt.

Description
EPHA3 plays a critical role in axon guidance and tumor angiogenesis, making its extracellular domain a key target for oncology-focused drug discovery and therapeutic antibody development. This recombinant construct spans residues 21–541, covering the ligand-binding and cysteine-rich domains, and is expressed in mammalian cells to preserve native glycosylation and disulfide-mediated folding essential for conformational integrity. Functional ELISA confirms that immobilized EPHA3 binds human EFNA5 with an EC50 of 0.97–1.18 ng/ml, providing validated support for receptor-ligand interaction assays, competitive inhibition studies, blocking antibody screening, and small-molecule inhibitor discovery campaigns. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for SPR- or BLI-based affinity characterization and epitope mapping workflows where low background and consistent binding kinetics are essential.
