Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
Desmoglein-3 is the primary autoantigen in pemphigus vulgaris, making access to a functionally validated form of this protein essential for autoimmune research and anti-DSG3 antibody characterization. This recombinant human DSG3 construct, spanning residues 50–615 with a C-terminal 6×His tag, is expressed in a baculovirus system to support the post-translational processing important for proper cadherin-family folding. Functional ELISA confirms robust binding activity, with immobilized DSG3 at 2 μg/mL capturing an anti-DSG3 recombinant antibody at an EC50 of 4.552–5.720 ng/mL, providing a suitable basis for use as a reliable coating antigen in serological binding assays, antibody screening, and positive control development. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for functional cell-based adhesion assays and ELISA-based autoantibody detection platforms.
