Description
Desmoglein-2 mediates intercellular adhesion in epithelial and cardiac tissues, and its dysregulation is implicated in tumor invasion and metastasis, making it a target of interest in cancer biology. This recombinant fragment spans residues 24–609, encompassing the extracellular cadherin repeats critical for homophilic binding, and demonstrates functional activity with an EC50 of 20.26–38.00 ng/mL when binding to an anti-DSG2 antibody in ELISA format.
