Description
Claudin-4 is a tight junction transmembrane protein frequently overexpressed in ovarian, pancreatic, and breast cancers, making it a high-priority target for antibody screening and therapeutic development. This recombinant human CLDN4 is presented on virus-like particles (VLPs), preserving the native multi-pass transmembrane topology that is lost when the protein is solubilized in conventional formats — a critical advantage for generating conformationally relevant immune responses and accurate binding data. Functional ELISA confirms robust receptor activity: immobilized at 5 μg/mL, the protein binds an anti-CLDN4 recombinant antibody with an EC50 of 29.56–50.75 ng/mL, supporting use in antibody characterization, phage display panning, and immunization campaigns targeting membrane-intact epitopes.
