Description
Cadherin-17 plays a critical role in calcium-dependent cell–cell adhesion in intestinal and hepatic epithelia, and its aberrant expression has been implicated in tumor metastasis and progression across multiple gastrointestinal cancers. This recombinant human CDH17 construct spans residues 23–787, covering the extracellular cadherin repeat domains essential for homophilic binding, and is expressed in mammalian cells with a C-terminal 10×His tag to support native-like folding and proper disulfide formation. Functional ELISA confirms robust binding activity, with an EC50 of 3.095–4.451 ng/mL against an anti-CDH17 recombinant antibody, providing a suitable basis for antibody development and validation, cell adhesion and spreading assays, and tumor metastasis research. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typically required for cell migration and invasion assays as well as integrin-ligand binding studies in sensitive cell-based systems.
