Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
CLEC4C, expressed on plasmacytoid dendritic cells, functions as a pattern recognition receptor that modulates innate immune responses and represents a target for immunotherapeutic intervention in autoimmune disease and cancer. This partial construct spanning residues 45–213 captures the extracellular C-type lectin domain responsible for ligand recognition and has been validated in functional ELISA, where immobilized protein binds an anti-CLEC4C recombinant antibody with an EC50 of 7.658–12.99 ng/mL, demonstrating preserved conformational epitopes suitable for therapeutic antibody epitope mapping and blocking antibody screening. Mammalian cell expression supports native glycosylation and disulfide bond formation critical for receptor folding, enabling reliable use in ligand-binding assays, competitive inhibition studies, and affinity characterization by surface plasmon resonance or biolayer interferometry.
