Description
Interleukin-9 plays a critical role in mast cell proliferation, T helper cell differentiation, and allergic airway inflammation, making it a key target in murine immunology models. This tag-free recombinant mouse IL-9 encompasses the full-length mature sequence (19–144 aa) and demonstrates exceptional signaling potency, with an ED50 below 0.02 ng/ml in a murine TS1 cell proliferation assay, corresponding to a specific activity exceeding 5.0 × 10⁷ IU/mg — providing a reliable basis for JAK/STAT signaling pathway studies, Th9 differentiation assays, and mast cell functional experiments. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize the risk of LPS-driven artifacts in sensitive immune cell cultures, supporting use in in vivo models of allergic inflammation as well as serving as a reference standard in cytokine detection assays such as ELISA. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, satisfies the criteria typical for antibody development workflows including immunization and positive control applications.
