Description
IL-17RA serves as the signaling receptor for IL-17A and IL-17F, making it a critical node in Th17-driven inflammatory pathways and a validated therapeutic target. This recombinant human IL-17RA construct spans the extracellular ligand-binding domain (aa 33–320) with a C-terminal Fc tag, and its mammalian cell expression ensures native glycosylation and proper disulfide-mediated folding essential for conformational epitope presentation. Functional ELISA confirms binding activity with an ED50 of 13.50 ng/ml against an anti-human IL-17RA monoclonal antibody, supporting use in blocking antibody screening, therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, ligand-receptor interaction assays by SPR or BLI, and as a positive control in binding studies. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg combined with greater than 90% purity by SDS-PAGE satisfy the quality thresholds commonly required for drug discovery screening of small-molecule or biologic inhibitors targeting the IL-17 signaling axis.
