IL-15 drives proliferation and survival of NK cells, CD8⁺ memory T cells, and innate lymphoid cells, making a highly potent preparation essential for dissecting these pathways in vitro and in vivo. This tag-free recombinant human IL-15, encompassing the full-length mature sequence (aa 49–162), demonstrates an ED50 of 40–200 pg/mL in a CTLL-2 proliferation assay, confirming robust signaling potency suitable for T cell and NK cell expansion studies, JAK/STAT pathway activation experiments, and use as a reference standard in cytokine detection assays. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts, supporting use in sensitive primary cell cultures, PBMC stimulation protocols, and in vivo tumor immunology models where confounding innate immune activation must be excluded. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, satisfies the criteria typical for antibody development workflows including immunization, ELISA coating, and functional blocking assays.
