Basically, we can dispatch the products out in 5-10 working days after receiving your orders. Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

Description
Epidermal growth factor is a critical mitogenic signal that drives epithelial cell proliferation and wound healing through EGFR activation, making validated potency essential for reliable downstream results. This recombinant mouse EGF, spanning residues 977–1029 of the pro-EGF precursor, encompasses the mature ligand domain and demonstrates an ED50 of 2–20 ng/mL in A431 cell proliferation inhibition assays, confirming strong receptor-binding potency suitable for cell proliferation and survival assays, wound healing models, and EGFR-ligand competition studies via ELISA or SPR. The E. coli expression system yields a non-glycosylated protein with a C-terminal 6xHis tag, providing a well-defined molecule that eliminates glycosylation variability — an advantage for quantitative receptor-binding experiments and use as an ELISA standard for antibody characterization. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for cell-based bioassays and in vivo tumor biology studies.
