Description
SERPINB2 functions as a critical serine protease inhibitor that regulates fibrinolysis by directly neutralizing urokinase and tissue-type plasminogen activator, making it central to studies of thrombotic regulation and tumor microenvironment biology. This tag-free, full-length recombinant human SERPINB2 (residues 1–415) achieves half-maximal inhibition of single-chain tPA (1.0 μg/ml) at a concentration of 1.0 μg/ml in imidazole buffer at 37 °C, providing a quantitative benchmark suitable for inhibitor screening, IC50 determination, and kinetic parameter analysis including Ki and mechanism-of-inhibition studies.
