The production of the A27L polyclonal antibody is a meticulous process that begins with the repeated immunization of a rabbit using recombinant vaccinia virus 14 kDa fusion protein (1-110aa). This immunization is carried out until an adequate antibody titer is achieved. Subsequently, the rabbit's blood is collected, and the antibodies are purified from the serum using protein A/G. The functionality of the resulting A27L antibody is thoroughly evaluated through ELISA and WB applications, confirming its specific reactivity with the vaccinia virus 14 kDa fusion protein.
