Description
Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (CSF3) is a key regulator of neutrophil proliferation, differentiation, and survival, making it an essential tool for studying myeloid lineage biology in a nonhuman primate model. This tag-free recombinant rhesus macaque CSF3 (residues 27–200) demonstrates exceptional signaling potency, with an ED50 below 0.05 ng/ml in NFS-60 cell proliferation assays and a specific activity exceeding 2.0 × 10⁷ IU/mg, supporting use in granulopoiesis studies, JAK/STAT and MAPK signaling pathway dissection, and dose–response benchmarking as a reference standard in cytokine detection assays. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts, which satisfies the stringent criteria typical for primary immune cell functional assays and in vivo primate-relevant inflammation or infection models. The protein's >98% purity by SDS-PAGE, combined with its mature sequence fidelity and absence of fusion tags, provides a suitable basis for antibody development workflows including immunization, ELISA coating, and positive control applications.
