Description

The extracellular ligand-binding domain of human CSF2RA (residues 23–320) provides the critical GM-CSF interaction interface needed for receptor-ligand studies, and this construct demonstrates functional activity with an ED50 of 0.5–2 μg/ml in inhibiting GM-CSF-dependent proliferation of TF-1 cells. Mammalian cell expression preserves native glycosylation and disulfide-mediated folding, supporting conformational integrity essential for accurate affinity characterization by SPR or BLI and for competitive inhibition assays screening blocking antibodies or biologic inhibitors. The C-terminal 6×His tag enables oriented capture on sensor chips or ELISA plates, making this protein appropriate for therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, ligand-binding interaction studies, and use as a positive control in GM-CSF pathway binding assays. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for cell-based functional assays and drug discovery screening campaigns.
