Tag-Free
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer
Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered PBS, pH 7.4
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Lead Time
5-10 business days
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

Description

CXCL3 (also known as dendritic cell inflammatory protein 1) is a CXC chemokine that signals through CXCR2 to drive neutrophil recruitment and plays a key role in inflammatory and tumor microenvironment biology. This tag-free recombinant mouse CXCL3 (residues 28–100), representing the mature protein sequence, demonstrates confirmed signaling potency in a chemotaxis bioassay using human CXCR2-transfected HEK293 cells at a functional concentration range of 10–100 ng/ml, providing a suitable basis for chemotaxis/migration assays, NF-κB and MAPK pathway activation studies, and in vivo mouse models of inflammation or tumor biology. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound neutrophil and immune cell functional readouts, making this preparation appropriate for sensitive cell-based assays and as a reference standard in cytokine detection platforms such as ELISA. Expressed in *E. coli* with >97% purity by SDS-PAGE, this protein also supports antibody development workflows including immunization, coating antigen use, and Western blot positive controls.

Target Background

Function(From Uniprot)
Ligand for CXCR2. Has chemotactic activity for neutrophils. May play a role in inflammation and exert its effects on endothelial cells in an autocrine fashion.
Gene References into Functions
  1. The studies revealed that, although overall structural and oligomerization features of CXCL3 and CXCL2 are similar, prominent differences were observed in their surface characteristics, thus implicating a functional divergence. PMID:28928065
  2. these results have indicated that CXCL3 is a novel adipokine that facilitates adipogenesis in an autocrine and/or a paracrine manner through induction of c/ebpb and c/ebpd. PMID:27512010
  3. Tis21 induces migration of cerebellar granule neuron precursor cells through Cxcl3, which may represent a novel target for medulloblastoma therapy PMID:23115191
  4. DCIP-1 interacts with chemokine CXCR2 and mediates human neutrophil chemotaxis, consistent with its role during the early proinflammatory phase of dendritic cell maturation. PMID:14764687
