Description
CCL5 (RANTES) is a key chemotactic cytokine that orchestrates T cell, monocyte, and eosinophil recruitment to sites of inflammation, making it indispensable for studying leukocyte trafficking in immune responses. This tag-free recombinant mouse CCL5, encompassing the full-length mature sequence (residues 24–91), drives chemotaxis of human T lymphocytes at 1.0–10 ng/ml in bioassay, confirming signaling potency suitable for Transwell migration assays, CCR5-dependent MAPK and NF-κB pathway activation studies, and in vivo mouse models of inflammation or tumor immune infiltration. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that commonly confound immune cell functional readouts, which supports use in sensitive T cell activation assays, PBMC chemotaxis experiments, and as a reference standard in cytokine detection platforms. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, provides a suitable basis for antibody validation workflows including ELISA coating and Western blot positive controls.
