Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

Description
CCL3 (MIP-1-alpha) is a key inflammatory chemokine that drives monocyte and lymphocyte recruitment, making validated recombinant forms essential for dissecting innate immune signaling. This tag-free recombinant mouse CCL3 encompasses the full mature sequence (residues 24–92) and demonstrates confirmed chemoattractant activity on murine splenocytes at 10–100 ng/ml, providing a suitable basis for Transwell chemotaxis and migration assays, CCR1/CCR5 receptor signaling studies involving MAPK and NF-κB pathway activation, and in vivo murine inflammation or infection models. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound cytokine-dependent readouts in primary immune cell cultures, while purity exceeding 98% by SDS-PAGE supports use as a reliable reference standard in cytokine detection assays or as a positive control for antibody validation by ELISA and Western blot. The E. coli-derived, non-glycosylated format aligns with standards expected in mechanistic studies where glycan-independent bioactivity is preferred.
