Description
CCL21c (TCA4/6Ckine) is a homeostatic chemokine critical for guiding T cells and dendritic cells to secondary lymphoid organs via CCR7 signaling, making it indispensable in studies of adaptive immune trafficking. This tag-free recombinant mouse CCL21c, encompassing the full mature sequence (24–133 aa), drives chemotaxis of murine T-lymphocytes at 10–100 ng/ml in bioassay, providing a suitable basis for Transwell migration assays, CCR7 receptor activation studies, and MAPK or PI3K pathway dissection downstream of chemokine engagement. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound immune cell readouts, supporting use in sensitive in vivo lymphocyte homing models and primary cell-based functional assays where cytokine-specific effects must be cleanly resolved. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE further qualifies this protein as a reliable reference standard in chemokine detection assays and as a positive control for anti-CCL21c antibody validation by ELISA or Western blot.
