Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description
CCL20 (MIP-3α) is the sole known chemokine ligand for CCR6, making it a critical mediator in the recruitment of dendritic cells, Th17 cells, and B cells to sites of mucosal inflammation. This tag-free recombinant mouse CCL20 encompasses the full mature sequence (residues 28–97) and demonstrates potent chemotactic activity in a CCR6-transfected BaF3 migration assay at 0.1–10 ng/mL, providing a reliable positive control for Transwell chemotaxis experiments, CCR6 signaling pathway studies involving NF-κB and MAPK activation, and in vivo murine models of intestinal or pulmonary inflammation. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound immune cell migration and activation readouts, which is especially important when working with primary dendritic cells or macrophages. Purity exceeding 96% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, supports use as a reference standard in cytokine detection assays and as a coating antigen for anti-CCL20 antibody validation by ELISA.
