Description
CCL4L1 is a potent CCR5 ligand that plays a key role in leukocyte recruitment during inflammatory and antiviral immune responses, making it a valuable tool for dissecting chemokine-driven signaling. This tag-free recombinant protein encompasses the full-length mature sequence (residues 24–92) and demonstrates strong biological activity, with an ED50 below 2.0 ng/ml in a CCR5-transfected BaF3 cell proliferation assay, corresponding to a specific activity exceeding 5.0 × 10⁵ IU/mg — potency that supports use in chemotaxis and migration assays, CCR5-mediated signaling studies involving MAPK and NF-κB pathways, and in vivo inflammation or infection models. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts in sensitive immune cell experiments, while purity greater than 97% by SDS-PAGE provides a suitable basis for deployment as a reference standard in cytokine detection assays or as a positive control for antibody validation by ELISA and Western blot.
